We are also seeking personnel for new services we are providing for real estate developments, as described below:

Urban Planner (Irvine Office):

DUTIES: Evaluate project environmental impacts by utilizing thresholds set forth in public documents based on the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA). Draft different sections of environmental documents and conduct relevant research on various environmental issues related to land use, aesthetics and visual quality, socioeconomics, public services, transportation, forestry, agriculture, water, air, noise, hazards, cultural and biological resources. Knowledge of urban and regional planning practices and procedures for preparing technical reports including baseline studies and project impacts on land use, aesthetics, socioeconomics, public services and utilities. Draft AutoCAD for preparing graphical images representing pre-construction and post-construction views. Work with the GIS department and help in preparing maps and analytical data for diverse projects using ArcGIS.

Senior Proposal Advisor (Irvine Office):

Seeking candidate with approximately 10 years of experience with excellent technical writing and management skills to prepare high quality proposals for CEQA and NEPA consulting services for commercial and government clients.  Must be self-motivated, highly organized, detail oriented, able to work with senior professionals and clerical staff, and highly proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint (or similar graphics software), and Excel.  Bachelor’s or higher degree in a technical field related to environmental consulting is preferred.  Will report to the Director of Operations.  Salary commensurate with ability and experience.


CEQA/NEPA Supervisor (Irvine Office):

Seeking candidate with approximately 10 years of experience with excellent technical writing and management skills to head a diverse group of Biologists and Planners to provide high quality CEQA and NEPA consulting services to commercial and government clients on time and within budget.  Must be self-motivated, highly organized, detail oriented, able to work with senior professionals and clerical staff, and highly proficient in MS Word and Excel.  Master’s or higher degree in Biology, Planning or related field, and extensive experience with CEQA and NEPA projects, are preferred.  Will report to the Director of Operations.  Salary commensurate with ability and experience.

Biological Monitor (El Centro Project):

Seeking a full-time Biological Monitor with approximately three years of experience to prepare daily logs, weekly summaries, and prepare monthly compliance reports for solar construction project in Imperial Valley, California.  The work assignment will require at least a two-year commitment for field work. Bachelor’s or higher degree in biology, zoology, botany, ecology, or a closely related field with a current certification from a nationally recognized biological society, such as The Ecological Society of America or The Wildlife Society, is preferred.  Must reside in or relocate to Imperial Valley, CA (near El Centro) to be close to project site.  Will report to the Lead Biologist.  Salary commensurate with ability and experience.
