John Wayne Airport, Fire Station No. 33, Noise Study
UltraSystems conducted an eight-hour continuous noise measurements for the Hensel Phelps Construction Company to assess the noise impact on workers from construction-related activities during the development of Fire Station No. 33 at John Wayne Airport. The construction site was located on 1.7 acres of land, southwest of the airport and about 2,000 feet from the nearest runway. As a result of construction, the workers could be exposed to the noise from aviation traffic and other related activities at the airport
