On contract to Hatch Mott McDonald on behalf of LA County Metro, UltraSystems is helping assess the potential environmental impacts of route alternatives for Crenshaw Transit Corridor light-rail line. This analysis will help complete and gain approval of the project’s Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Study (EIR/EIS).

The company’s team is responsible for preparing the environmental documents, in coordination with the client and METRO.  Conceptual engineering for this project has been completed and the Draft EIR/EIS is under public review.

The Crenshaw Corridor extends from the Metro Green Line station at Imperial Highway and Aviation Boulevard, travels north and then east on the Harbor Subdivision railroad right-of-way to Crenshaw Boulevard. From there, the route leaves the railroad right-of-way and travels north to a transfer point with the EXPO Light Rail Transit at the intersection of Crenshaw and Exposition boulevards.
