Slauson Avenue Bridge
The project consisted of retrofitting the Slauson Avenue Bridge over San Gabriel River Bridge located in the Cities of Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs, and Unincorporated Los Angeles County. UltraSystems Environmental Inc. (UltraSystems) conducted a peer review of a focused bat survey report and Streambed Alteration Agreement (as issued by the California Department of Fish & Wildlife) to prepare a response letter outlining alternate compliance strategy recommendations for the project. A springtime bat survey assisted in relating current conditions at the bridge to agency personnel; agency consultation followed the survey.
