Robertson’s Quarry Project
UltraSystems prepared a project level Environmental Impact Report for the Robertson’s Quarry Project. The proposed project is comprised of three elements, each of which requires Conditional Use Permit approval by the Kern County Board of Supervisors. The project is located just west of the U.S. 395/N. Brown Road intersection at the western terminus of N. Brown Road. The project required a Surface Mining and Reclamation Plan prepared pursuant to the provisions of the Surface Mining and Reclamation Act of 1975 (SMARA). The project will update, enhance, expand and refine the surface mining, extraction and post-operational mine closure and site reclamation plan parameters which currently exist for State Mine I.D. 91-15-0013.
